InchCape Offshore Wind Farm
InchCape Offshore Wind are developing a 1.1GW windfarm development off the east coast of Scotland. This project is at a very early stage and the time had come to gear up and link in with the rest of the offshore wind supply chain. We were asked to create a film which would primarily be used to engage with potential suppliers during a two day event, where the themes of wind and the opportunity ahead for Scotland needed to run through it. It all starts here.

Sunbelt Film & TV
Sunbelt Film & TV are part of the Sunbelt Rentals UK family and they had a very interesting question to ask us. They asked if we would be up for spending a few days on set where Sony were testing the new Burano camera with a film that would be directed by the Oscar winning cinematographer James Friend. Were we we interested in doing this? We were buzzing.

EGGER - The Forest
Back into The Forest we go. EGGER wanted to tell the story of how they sustainably get the wood to make their products. thyssenkrupp
When you work in a large organisation with lots of moving parts you can often lose the impact your role has on the big picture when you’re focussed on the day to day. thyssenkrupp in the UK wanted to pull together the story of why they do what they do – ultimately everything they do leads to someone having access to their full home again, their independence and their safety. As part of this we were tasked with creating a film that would be shown internally initially to show how all the pieces come together.

Great North Air Ambulance Service
One of the great unseen emergency services apart from the second you need them. It's hard to miss the air ambulance crews when they're called into action but funding that fleet requires year round support. We were asked to produce a 30 second commercial ready for TV and social to bring the story to life of how the fleet works and the importance of keeping them in the air through public donations. This was to be a progression of campaigns the marketing team had been running on social media and radio during the pandemic - this was to take it on a level and show exactly who they were.

Newcastle Building Society
A long-time Ithica collaborative partner, we were asked to be part of the next step of Newcastle Building Society's journey - after everything they had done for the past several years defining who they were, just where were they headed? How could a film capture the essence of the purpose and strategy going forward - demonstrating to colleagues how they deliver for the members of Newcastle Building Society and the wider region. What difference could they make? How could they work towards their purpose - of connecting their communities with a better financial future - and take their team with them?

The year that wasn’t… We’d been in talks around ideas to end 2020 on a high, with plenty of positivity around the potential of 2021 and some kind of normality returning. Then things started to change and the UK was plunged back into lockdown ahead of production starting. That meant we were right back to the drawing board, how could we have positive messaging when the mood locally and nationally just wasn’t that? We couldn’t be as positive as we had hoped so we went back to the very basics of the idea, we’d all had a year that hadn’t happened…
