Freelance opportunity
We’re looking to add to our roster of talent and have an entry level position for a recent graduate in our cinematography filmmaking department.This role will involve working as part of our small but highly creative team, and for the most part you will be out on set. This is a freelance position with days and hours dictated by our production slate.

Day rate + expenses
Own transport preferable but not essential
We work nationwide however the bulk of our projects are in the North East and North West of England along with the Central Belt in Scotland.
The job
You will work directly with the film team
Learn cinematography on a practical level on real life commercial projects
Support the cinematography of our projects
Learn Sony camera systems, manual and automatic primes and zooms, lighting, sound recording, interviews and key footage.
Learn to support drone operations.
Work in a wide range of commercial environments, from heavy industry to woodlands and offices.
Expectations
Understand bringing preproduction materials to life through the film production stage.
Learn media management and backup systems. Create proxies for postproduction. Learn modern archival methods.
You must have a working knowledge of filmmaking .
Having your own vehicle is preferable but not essential.
However you must be willing to meet the demands of our industry and have a recent production related degree or similar.
